In June 2023, I had the immense honour of being invited by Christie's Paris, one of the world's largest auction houses, to participate in their AOA exhibition. I had the privilege of showcasing my Jarra bag collection, which features the classic KOTA monogram logo and an African ancestor statue, meticulously crafted in Italy, with the bags themselves made in Portugal. I am deeply humbled and grateful for this prestigious opportunity.

This was a landmark moment, as it marked the first time Christie's Paris organised such an exhibition with a small brand, making the experience all the more special. The event was further enriched by an exquisite lunch prepared by Michelin-starred chef Mory Sacko, which was truly a remarkable experience.
